Energy Flow:
In Science, we learned about Energy Flow, Energy Flow is the
way energy moves through an enviroment or ecosystem. It usually flows
through different living things as each is consuming the other. In this page you will learn
about energy flow.
- The Original Source of Energy: In most ecosystems
almost everyone agrees that it is the sun, as the sun
is the starting point for basically all of the earth's organisms.
- Producers: Producers are the plants that make their food
through a process called photosynthesis. These plants' primary purpose
is giving us the oxygen to breathe and something for the Consumers to eat to get energy.
- Consumers: Consumers feed off of the producers, and us humans
along with basically all animals are consumers. We get energy from plants which get their
energy from the sun.
- Decomposers: They decompose waste and leftover food so
the energy can becoe soil, and this allows us to get plants, as the soil needs
those nutrients. They are what causes the cycle to keep on repeating.
